For Venues, Planners & Organizations
513Sips is a fully insured, certified mobile bar serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We handle the bar completely: setup, service, breakdown. Your space, your members and your clients are taken care of.
Three Ways We Work Together
Whichever one fits, we'd love to hear from you.
You have the space
Your clients book the space, then ask you who handles the bar. We want to be the easy answer, and we make sure that recommendation always reflects well on you.
You have the members
Member socials, fundraisers, donor receptions, holiday parties. You already have the people and the space. We bring everything that goes behind the bar.
You have the clients
Planners, caterers, photographers. Your client hired you to make it feel effortless, and the bar has to live up to that. You get the credit. We just make sure the bar earns it.
Typical packages start at $650, but partnerships aren't one-size-fits-all. We price around the event, the relationship and what we can build together.
What People Remember
Anyone can pour a drink. These are the things guests bring up the next morning.
Our syrups, candied citrus and specialty garnishes are made in house in small batches. It's an extra level of care your guests can see, taste and remember.
We build drinks around the event, not the other way around. From the cocktail names and flavors to custom menus and signage, the details come together as one experience.
Our mobile bar is designed to feel like part of the event, whether we're set up in a barn, a ballroom, under a tent, in a studio or poolside. The bar is built to fit in any space.
5 ft wide · 2 ft deep · 4.5 ft tall
Already have a bar? Perfect. We bring the same 513Sips experience to it: thoughtful styling, signage, menus and garnishes that make the space feel intentionally yours.
Our Process
Recommending a vendor puts your reputation on the line. Here's exactly what happens after someone says yes, so there are no unknowns.
We learn the event before we plan a single drink. Who is in the room, what the day looks like, what they actually like to drink.
No chargeCustom menu, drink names, quantity guidance and a written estimate. Nobody guesses how much to buy and nobody is surprised by a line item.
No chargePower, water, ice access, load-in path, where the bar actually goes. We find the problems in advance instead of on the day.
We come to youSyrups, candied citrus and batching are done in our kitchen, not in your space. We show up ready to pour.
Off-siteWe arrive early, set up, serve and read the room. We work around dinner service and whatever else is running, never through it. Nobody from your team needs to stand by.
One contact, start to finishWe break down, haul out our own ice and trash, and leave the space the way we found it. Unopened alcohol goes back to the store on our trip, not yours.
Nothing left behindEvery recipe is tested before your event, every quantity is calculated against real guest counts, and the whole plan is in writing before we load the truck. Eliminating surprises is where most of our effort goes.
Every syrup, every candied garnish, every mixer is made by hand in small batches. That's the part we won't compromise on, and it's why we're built for events of 200 and under. Planning something bigger? Talk to us anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit, and if we're not, we probably know who is.
A bar that gets out of hand becomes a problem for everyone. Our bartenders are trained in Ohio liquor law and responsible service, and we'd rather cut someone off early than let the night go sideways.
Cincinnati Spaces We Know
Every space runs differently. We learn yours before we ever set up a bar in it.
Wedding Venue
A 115-guest summer wedding with full bar service, two bartenders, a custom menu and a beverage plan built from the ground up for the space.
Swim & Tennis Club
Recurring member programming: Men's Night and Ladies Night, each with its own signature cocktails designed for the crowd and the season.
Event Studio
Studio celebrations and private parties in a space where the bar has to look as good as it tastes.
How Dry-Hire Works
Dry-hire means we bring the bar, the bartenders and the experience, and the alcohol is bought at cost for the event. Ohio's liquor licensing is built around permanent establishments, so there's no event license a mobile bar can buy. Rather than work around that, we built the business on it. We don't sell alcohol and we never mark it up.
It doesn't matter to us who buys it. You, your client, or us on their behalf. What matters is that it's bought at retail, which is where the savings live. A bottle that runs $22 at Costco can carry a $60+ open-bar charge anywhere else. On most events that gap is larger than our entire fee.
Don't want to make the run? That's our job too. We build the list, do the shopping and hand over every receipt.
We plan generously on anything that can go back, so the bar never runs dry. Then we return every unopened bottle ourselves and the refund goes to whoever paid. No guessing, no leftover cases in a closet, no return trip for you or your client.
Procurement is a flat service fee, and it shows up as one line on your quote. You'll know what it is before you commit to anything.
Markup on alcohol. Ever. We don't sell it, so there's nothing to mark up. Whoever buys pays retail and we bring everything else the bar needs.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio (and before you ask, Madeira High School). I created 513Sips for two reasons: to pay homage to the city I love and to build something around a passion I have always had, bringing people together and finding ways to serve others.
To my friends, I'm known as “The Hub,” the one who hosts, makes the plans and finds a reason to get everyone together. As president of the Greater Cincinnati Penn State Alumni Association, I play a similar role on a larger scale. Since 2020, I've organized dozens of philanthropy events to give back to the community we live in.
Along the way, I started to notice something about the best gatherings. A good bar is about more than what is being poured. It becomes a gathering place. Stories get told there. Friends linger there. Sometimes the moments you remember most happen there.
During one philanthropy event, we were sponsored by a beer company and I used this as an opportunity to expand on a long-standing passion of mine.
So I built a bar.
513Sips grew from equal parts friends and family, a love of bringing people together, a heavy pour of serving others and a dash of wanting to make every event feel a little more special.
By day, I'm a managing business consultant. That world has taught me how to build processes, create the right tools and run an operation that people can depend on. What I didn't expect was how much I would love the creative side of this business:
Little details I now obsess over for every event, because they are the details that make things feel special.
I know what it feels like to sit on both sides of an event. I've been the organizer putting my name behind it and the vendor being trusted to deliver it. That's why I stay personally involved from the first conversation and menu planning through setup and the final pour.
